SCRMET sold $26.1 million worth of petroleum products and textiles for export in a week


The amount of export transactions concluded during the week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to more than 26 million 144 thousand US dollars.
In particular, lighting kerosene, polypropylene and base oil produced by the “Turkmennebit” state concern were sold to foreign companies. Traders from the UK, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan became the buyers.
Export contracts were also concluded for the purchase of batches of terry products, bedding sets, denim and flannel, cotton yarn, which will be sent to China, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
For the domestic market, domestic private enterprises purchased oil road bitumen and polypropylene from Turkmenneft, as well as handmade carpets for a total amount of over 31 million 839 thousand manats. A total of 58 transactions were executed during the week during the trading sessions of the exchange.
