Ahal's opponents in the AFC Champions League were determined
Turkmen "Ahal" recognized their rivals in group A in the Asian Champions League season 2023/24. They were the Uzbek "Pakhtakor", the Saudi "Al-Feiha" and "Al-Ain" from the UAE. The draw took place in Kuala Lumpur.
The group stage of Asia's most prestigious club tournament will take place from 18 September to 13 December. From each zone (West and East), the leaders of five groups, as well as three second places with the best results, will go to the 1/8 finals.
Note that for the first time since 2002/03 the tournament returned to the autumn- spring format. The Asian champion will qualify for the 2024 Club World Cup and will also have a chance of qualifying for the next season of the Champions League if they do not make it through the national championship.
