Uzbek Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to train foreign police officers


The system of training police officers for foreign countries will be introduced from the next academic year. To do this, a separate faculty for working with foreign personnel will be created at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan. The training will be conducted in accordance with international treaties, according to the website of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic.
Training of employees of internal affairs bodies of foreign countries will begin from the next academic year. Foreign applicants will be admitted to study without entrance exams, and training will be conducted in three languages - Uzbek, Russian and English. Students in undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs will study full-time. And for retraining and advanced training programs - in full-time or remote format.
For foreign personnel, the annual quotas for admission to the academy will be set by the President of Uzbekistan, and the distribution of quotas, specialties and types of training in the context of foreign states will be carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in agreement with the Security Council.
After graduating from the Academy, foreigners will receive diplomas of the established state standard and badges. Those who defended their thesis will be awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the relevant sciences.
