Ambassadors of Turkmenistan and Brazil discussed diplomatic cooperation in Astana
The heads of the diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan and Brazil in Kazakhstan held a meeting at which issues of strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed. This was reported on the official page of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Telegram.
Batyr Rejepov and Rubem Antonio Correa Barbosa met at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Turkmen diplomat congratulated his Brazilian colleague on his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Turkmenistan (with residence in Astana) and wished him success in his responsible post. In turn, Rubem Antonio Correa Barbosa expressed his readiness to make efforts to further strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and interaction within the framework of international organizations.
The parties agreed to maintain close working ties through diplomatic channels.
Barbosa was accredited as an ambassador to Turkmenistan a month ago, and on July 20 he presented his credentials to Dunyagozel Gulmanova, chairwoman of the Mejlis.
