An international camp with the study of the Russian language for children from CIS countries has opened in Kyrgyzstan

Children from five CIS countries who want to combine summer holidays with learning the Russian language will be able to do so at the international camp "First", which started working in Kyrgyzstan on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, Sputnik news agency reports.
The organizers of the project plan to hold two educational shifts by the end of August – more than 360 children from the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be able to relax in the camp. Russian Russian youth aged 7 to 18 will immerse themselves in learning the Russian language and get to know Russian culture better.
The camp has already established a comfortable, exciting and friendly atmosphere. The "immersion" of pupils in the "Russian language" takes place at master classes, exhibitions, interactive classes, sports competitions, contests, as well as thematic excursions, during which children are told about significant moments of Russian history and culture.
During the shift in the "First", the children will also get acquainted with Russian folk customs, traditional arts, music, sights and, of course, national cuisine. Leading actors and masters, as well as representatives of Russian children's centers and higher educational institutions, work with children as counselors and mentors.
The language camp opened on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul for CIS children is a joint project of the Institute of Modern Social and Humanitarian Studies and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, which provided financial support in the form of a grant. Russian Russian is the goal of the program - to preserve the Russian language in the post-Soviet space and to popularize Russian culture among young people, the source said in a statement.
