Young musicians from 18 countries will take part in the first World Youth Orchestra Festival, which will be held in Moscow from 18 to 20 August. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Russian Concert Agency (RCA).

“Among the participants of the festival are youth symphony orchestras from Algeria and Uzbekistan, the Arab Youth Symphony Orchestra, young musicians from China, the Republic of Korea, Moldova, Serbia, Chile, the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Colombia, Bosnia, and so on,” the message says.

The concerts of the participants of the musical project will be held in the open air style in the open air on the stage of the Big Amphitheater of the Zaryadye Park in Moscow. The festival will create the World Youth Symphony Orchestra, which will give a concert on August 20 - the day the event ends.

The All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra will be the initiator and main character of the holiday. Artistic director and chief conductor of the cast, People's Artist of the USSR Yuri Bashmet. The festival is held in the Russian capital with the support of the Moscow government.
