Future Turkmen sailsmen will get education in Kaliningrad
Young Turkmen citizens, who dream of linking their destiny with the sea, seek education at the Kaliningrad State Technical University, where about half a thousand foreign students are currently enrolled. Basically, these are citizens of the CIS. There has been an increase in the number of people from Turkmenistan who wish to become a student of largest university of the Russian fisheries industry, too. This is understandable, because the government of Turkmenistan pays special attention to the development of the national trade and fishing fleet, which is based on the Caspian Sea. For this purpose, the state acquired a number of modern vessels for various purposes, including the largest ferries in the region of RO-PAX class, built especially for Turkmenistan in the shipyards of Croatia.
