Alexey Overchuk and Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexei Overchuk and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov discussed by telephone cooperation between the two countries in the fields of secondary and higher education and culture. This is reported by TASS, referring to the Telegram channel of the Russian government.
As follows from the message, the co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation considered topical issues of cooperation in these areas, where both countries have accumulated extensive partnership experience, and also outlined new plans for the near future.
Among them is the creation of a joint Turkmen-Russian university in Ashgabat, in the future it is also planned to open branches of leading Russian universities in Turkmenistan.
