FC "Arkadag" tied the first international match in its history
FC "Arkadag" held a friendly match within the off-season training camp in Bansko (Bulgaria). The meeting against "Besa" from North Macedonia ended in a draw - 1:1. This fight was the first international game for the team from the city of national importance, founded in April this year.
The only goal in the Turkmen team was scored by Didar Durdyev. At the moment, the forward tops the list of top scorers in the major league of Turkmenistan in football. The forward scored 12 times in eight matches of the tournament.
“Besa” is a North Macedonian football club founded in 1976. The last season ended in sixth place in the second most important division of the country.
FC "Arkadag" went to Bulgaria to prepare for the resumption of the current season of the major football league of Turkmenistan and the semifinal matches of the Cup of the country.
The training camp in Bulgaria, which started on July 21, will continue until August 8.
At the moment, FC "Arkadag" leads the standings of the championship of Turkmenistan on football, having 24 points in nine rounds. In the Cup of the country, the team reached the semi-final stage, in which it will meet with the capital's "Altyn Asyr".
