Forums, competitions, festivals - August to be musical, poetic and scientific- practical
August promises to be full of creative events and various thematic forums. Thus, a large cycle of scientific, educational, promotional events, poetry meetings, literary debates, musical dedications, art and book exhibitions in honor of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi continues in Turkmenistan.
Along with this anniversary cycle, a number of song and performing competitions will be held throughout the country in the last month of summer. For example, in three regions at once - Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary - regional rounds of the competition of young dutarists and bakhshi "Çalsana, bagşy!" For the first time such a competition was held last year, and in its new edition it demonstrates the expansion of the geographical and numerical coverage of participants. The musical marathon of folk music performers will finish in September in Ashgabat.
But the competition of amateur young artists "Ýaňlan, Diýarym!" has been held in the country for over 30 years. In August, on the stage of the capital's Palace of Mukams, its final tour will take place with the participation of promising singers selected from all over the country.
Another creative festival and within its framework a forum under the general name "Garaşsyzlyk - dillerimiziň dessany" will be held in the city of Dashoguz.
The final round of the music competition among gifted children “Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri” is also approaching, its final round will take place in September, but for now, the finalists have been determined; and they are preparing for a gala concert in Ashgabat, where the names of the winners will be announced.
In addition to creative reviews, the program of events in August will include other events. Day of the Caspian Sea, annually celebrated by the Caspian states, is also traditionally celebrated in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. The scientific and practical conference “The Caspian Sea – the Sea of Friendship and Accord” is timed to coincide with this date, the agenda of which includes the most important aspects of the Caspian problems-politics, economics, trade, ecology, and humanitarian ties. By tradition, the forum is attended by heads and specialists of relevant ministries and departments of our country, scientists, representatives of the embassies of the Caspian states accredited in Turkmenistan, authoritative international structures and UN agencies.
Another forum will be held in August at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - a conference "Turkmenistan-UNESCO: cooperation for prosperity" will be organized here. It will also bring together representatives of academic, diplomatic circles, experts in the field of education and culture, who will discuss new formats for dialogue, which has a history of 30 years of fruitful interaction, and the country's accession to the programs, networks and institutions of this UN agency.
