Negotiations between the consular services of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan were held in Tashkent
The next round of consular consultations was held in Tashkent on Thursday by representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The participants of the meeting – employees of consular services of foreign ministries and law enforcement agencies of the two countries discussed issues of Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation through the consular line, as well as the topic of protecting the rights and interests of citizens.
The experts considered mutual proposals for the exchange of experience in the consular, legal and law enforcement fields, as well as the possibility of implementing joint projects and initiatives in this direction.
Following the talks, the parties signed a protocol regulating the implementation of the agreements reached, according to a press release from the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.
