The issues of preparation and holding of the Summit of the Presidents of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, which will be held in Ashgabat in early August this year, were discussed today by the foreign ministers of the three countries.
The consultations were held via videoconference. Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov, his Tajik counterpart Sirodjiddin Mukhriddin and Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov discussed the draft program and agenda of the upcoming meeting, as well as the draft final document of the summit, the foreign ministry said.
In this context, the Ministers exchanged views on priority aspects of regional cooperation.
