Turkmen producer of drinks and juices implements Halal standards

"Allowed" - this is how the word "halal" is translated from Arabic. Today it is not just food allowed for consumption by Muslims, but an entire industry that ensures the safety of human health and life, as well as quality and reliability.
Such an icon will now appear on the packaging of soft drinks and fruit juices, well- known in Turkmenistan, products of the “Bold”, “Ýedigen”, “Hoşal”, “Näzli” and “Buzz” trademarks, which are produced by “Yupekchi”. In 2023, a Turkmen company, together with consultants from “Standard Hyzmat”, began introducing the requirements of the “Halal” standard into production.
Today, halal products are in trend. PR and marketers like to put the concept of "halal" on a par with buzzwords and combinations of "environmentally friendly", "healthy food", "organic food". Such food does not contain nitrates, GMOs, carcinogens, preservatives, artificial colors and other harmful substances. Special requirements are also imposed on raw materials - vegetables and fruits. The sign "halal" in the modern world commands respect even among inveterate atheists.
The “halal” quality mark will soon replenish the “piggy bank” of Yupekchi certificates, which already contains a document for compliance with the requirements of the ISO 22000:2005 standard. In April 2018, the Turkmen enterprise for the production of juices and drinks successfully passed the certification of SGS, and a little later, in 2021, a certification audit on the FSSC 22000 food safety system and the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. These steps were also carried out by Yupekci together with the consultants of Standard Hyzmat.
It remains only to add that today such a product occupies a quarter of the world food market, and the food industry is the main industry where Halal certification is present. You can buy these products not only in specialized stores, but in almost any supermarket where there is a shelf with goods marked “halal”.
