President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan


The development of the dialogue between Ashgabat and Dushanbe in bilateral and regional aspects was considered by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Mukhriddin at a meeting on Saturday.
At the beginning of the audience, the diplomat conveyed to the head of Turkmenistan, as well as to the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov a cordial greeting and wishes of success from the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the national news service reports.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov conveyed his reciprocal wishes to his Tajik counterpart and stated the positive dynamics of equal and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. The new agreements reached during the May visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Dushanbe, the implementation of which will serve to bring the relations between the two states to a new level, have also become evidence of this.
Turkmenistan and Tajikistan are effectively building partnership within the framework of leading international organizations and multilateral formats. In this context, the importance of the V Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States and the next meeting of the Council of the Heads of the Founding States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, which will be held on September 14-15 in Dushanbe, was noted.
In a conversation with the head of the Tajik Foreign Ministry, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid special attention to priority areas of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, including transport issues, as well as in the field of education, culture, declaring Turkmenistan's commitment to work together to realize mutual potential.
