New heads of four regions of Turkmenistan appointed

Heads of four out of five regions have changed in Turkmenistan, namely, Akhal, Balkan, Dashoguz and Mary regions.
Personnel decisions in the system of regional administrations were announced by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at an expanded government meeting on Friday.
In particular, the head of state removed Yazmukhammed Gurbanov from the post of head of the Akhal region for serious shortcomings in his work and appointed Rovshen Khodjagulyev to this post, releasing him from the duties of head of the Ak Bugday region.
Khodjamyrat Ashirmyradov, who until that moment had worked as deputy head of the Akhal region, became the governor of the Balkan region.
Nazarmyrat Nazarmyradov was dismissed from the post of head of the administration of the Dashoguz region in connection with the transfer to another job. And the chair of the governor of the northern region of the country was taken by Soltanmyrat Soltanmyradov, who was transferred from the post of head of the Baherden region in Akhal.
Instead of Dovranberdi Annaberdiev, who was dismissed for serious shortcomings, Begenchmyrat Orazov became the governor of the Mary region.
