China daily: China launches world's first methane-powered rocket into orbit

China has successfully completed flight tests of the world's first methane-powered launch vehicle.
The two-stage rocket was launched from the Jiuquan Space Center in the Gobi Desert in northwest China. The rocket, called ZQ 2 or Rosefinch 2, was the first oxy-methane powered rocket that reached orbit.
It also became the most powerful private missile in China.
