Need a coffee? Just imagine it — the development of scientists from China

At the World Conference on Artificial Intelligence 2023 held in Shanghai, scientists from Fudan University presented a robot with artificial intelligence that allows people to order coffee just by imagining it to themselves. This is reported by China daily.
A robot named Xiao Fu can "read minds" using a special device that registers brain activity. It is also able to process voice commands using its MOSS language model based on dialogues, brew coffee and deliver it to customers.
"Thanks to intelligent programming of various capabilities of service robots, we can implement new intelligent scenarios that unite people, machines and objects," said Peng Xin of the School of Computer Science at Fudan University.
This year, the World Conference on Artificial Intelligence broke all records in terms of the number of participants and the size of the exhibition area.
The guests were presented with the premiere of a new generation of drones, intelligent terminals, enhanced application capabilities and other advanced technologies.
