Acceptance of documents for admission to universities in Romania will take place from July 10 to July 20 at TSU
From July 10 to July 20, citizens of Turkmenistan will be able to apply for studies at Romanian universities in the building of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University. The announcement was published on July 8 by the official Turkmen press.
The selection for training under the higher professional education program (bachelor's and master's degree) for the 2023-2024 academic year is carried out by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan in the framework of a joint program with the Ministry of Education of Romania.
Citizens of Turkmenistan will be able to receive scholarships and higher education in Romanian universities in such areas as healthcare and medical sciences, information technology, agriculture, technical and natural sciences, mathematics.
Applicants will be able to get more detailed information about the list of specialties and conditions of study at Romanian universities from the TSU Admission Commission.
List of documents required for admission:
— application and questionnaire for citizens of Turkmenistan according to the established forms;
— a questionnaire required for studying at higher educational institutions in Romania according to the established forms;
— birth certificate (certified copy and translation);
— certificate of permanent residence (certified copy and translation);
— copies of the first two pages of the passport of a citizen of Turkmenistan for leaving Turkmenistan and entering Turkmenistan, which must be valid for at least 6 months from the beginning of training;
— a document on changing the name and surname of a citizen (if any) (certified copy and translation);
— certificate of education issued by licensed institutions of the country (certified copy and translation);
— certificate that the applicant did not study and did not receive a scholarship in Romanian universities at the appropriate level of education (receipt);
— originals of documents on general secondary, secondary or higher professional education (certified copy and translation). (If the diploma was issued by a foreign university, then a Certificate confirming this diploma in Turkmenistan is attached to it);
— the original of the diploma application (certified copy and translation of an extract from the final examination report or transcript);
— certificate of completion or training in Romanian language courses (if available);
— resume (CV) in English, French or Romanian;
— originals of certificates of successful completion of the SAT "Scholastic Aptitude Test" or TOEFL "Test of English as a Foreign Language" courses (holders of SAT certificates take advantage of admission);
— medical certificate in the form established by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan (medical certificate issued to applicants to higher educational institutions outside Turkmenistan);
— certificate of vaccination against COVID-19;
— characteristics from the last place of study or work (military unit);
— twelve 3x4 cm photos;
— originals of the relevant documents of the winners of the state Olympiad of schoolchildren, members of the national teams of Turkmenistan who participated in international Olympiads in general education subjects, the holders of which enjoy an advantage when entering higher educational institutions.
In addition, applicants, together with the above documents, present the originals and submit copies of the following documents to the admissions committee:
— passport of a citizen of Turkmenistan, as well as a passport of a citizen of Turkmenistan for leaving Turkmenistan and entering Turkmenistan;
— those who have served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan — a military ID card, and young men who have not completed military service — a certificate of attribution and a certificate from the military commissariat at the place of residence.
Documents must be translated into one of the languages: English, French or Romanian.
If necessary, the admissions committee may request from the applicant additional information required to travel to study in foreign countries.
