The UN in Turkmenistan has joined the global campaign in support of the SDGs

The UN in Turkmenistan has joined the global rallying campaign in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The campaign calls on citizens to take measures to achieve the SDGs within the framework of the UN "Act Now" initiative. The platform includes steps to accelerate progress towards achieving the SDGs and creating a better life for a healthier planet for all.
In turn, a separate group of individuals will unite their communities in social networks to take individual actions to achieve the SDGs.
The campaign was launched on the eve of the UN Summit on Sustainable Development Goals. It will be convened on September 18 and 19, 2023, to mark the beginning of a new phase of accelerated progress towards achieving the SDGs.
The event will bring together global leaders at the UN headquarters in New York to reaffirm their collective commitment to the goals and promise not to leave anyone unattended.
"We want to involve everyone in achieving the SDGs," said Nanette Brown, head of campaigns at the UN Department of Global Communications.
