3 large drainage and communication tunnels will appear in the suburbs of Ashgabat by 2030

Three new large drainage and communication tunnels will be built in the suburbs of Ashgabat by 2030. This was announced by the chief engineer of the metropolitan administration Arslan Amangeldiyev in an interview with the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
Tunnels with a diameter of 12 to 20 meters will be laid along the avenue named after Gurbansoltan eje, near the cottage complex Choganli near the building of the auto terminal and on the territory of Shor-Garadamak. The last two tunnels will be stretched to the KOS-300 sewage treatment plants outside the city. They will be able to protect hundreds of hectares of land from flooding, security will also be guaranteed to administrative buildings on the outskirts of the capital.
The construction of a complex branched network of drainage and communication infrastructure near Ashgabat helps to minimize the risks of flooding, increases the efficiency of urban sewerage, water and electricity supply.
The project is implemented by the Ukrainian company "Interbudmontazh", which specializes in the construction of underground collectors, drainage systems, and self-protective structures.
