Bidding on SCRMET: liquefied gas, natural gas gasoline and diesel fuel were in demand


Liquefied gas ($335.20 per ton), ECO-93 gasoline ($656 per ton), L-0.5-62 diesel fuel ($585 per ton) and denim trousers ($3.65 per piece) were in demand during trading at the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan on Wednesday, 5 July.
A representative of the Afghan business community purchased 1 thousand tons of LNG from Turkmengaz Group for $335.2 thousand.
Other entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased 35 thousand tons of environmentally friendly gasoline from the state concern "Turkmenhimiya" from ECO-93 natural gas for $22.9 million.
In addition, companies from Afghanistan signed deals with Turkmenneft Group for the purchase of 2.5 thousand tons of diesel fuel for $1.4 million.
A businessman from Kyrgyzstan signed a contract with a Turkmen individual entrepreneur for the purchase of 13.2 thousand pieces of denim trousers for $48.1 thousand.
In total, 13 deals worth $24.8 million were concluded during the auction.
