The upcoming international forum TurkmenTel – 2023 will be held under the motto "Connect. Innovate. Commerce". The slogan was officially announced by the chairman of the "Turkmenaragatnashyk" Agency Hajymyrat Hudaygulyyev, speaking at the international investment forum, which was held on Friday in the new city of Arkadag.
— Thanks to our active participation in the construction of a smart city, we have gained a unique opportunity to expand our activities in a new direction, - said the head of the telecommunications industry of Turkmenistan.
Investments in smart cities are becoming a priority area of development, and Turkmenistan is an important player in this area.
Smart cities are becoming an important topic on international platforms, it will also be included in the agenda of TurkmenTel-2023 – a separate session will be devoted to it, Hudaygulyyev noted.
— We see how technology affects all aspects of our lives, providing convenience, efficiency and sustainability. Innovations in the field of smart cities open up unlimited opportunities for us to improve the lives of citizens, optimize resources and develop the economy," the official added.

TurkmenTel is an annual international forum on telecommunications, telemetry, broadcasting equipment and the IT industry. The largest professional event combines an expert conference and an industry exhibition with the participation of leading companies. In 2023, the forum will be held on November 9-10 in Ashgabat, in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
