A thermometer will appear in the AirPods headphones

Apple plans to introduce new features in the new versions of AirPods wireless headphones. Furthermore, AirPods will be taught to measure body temperature through the auricle, and they will be charged from the USB-C port.
"The company is exploring options for introducing new functions to maintain healthy hearing and determine body temperature, and also plans to release cheaper models and switch to USB-C charging ports," Bloomberg reports.
Such a method of measuring temperature will give more accurate results compared to measuring on the wrist, as in Apple smartwatches.
Moreover, according to the source, the new version of Apple's wireless headphones will be useful for users with hearing impairments. For example, with the help of a special application, the device will be able to detect potential hearing problems. The accessory will also be a replacement for a hearing aid.
