Turkmenistan will become a participant of the International Cultural Expo "Silk Road" in China
Turkmenistan was invited to take part as an honorary guest in the 6th International Cultural Expo "Silk Road", which is coming in August-September 2023 in the city of Donghuan, Gansu Province, China.
The invitation was announced during the visit of the delegation of this province to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Beijing. The delegation was headed by Zhang Yunxia, a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China, Minister of Information of Gansu Province.
The head of the delegation presented to the Turkmen diplomats the potential of the province in terms of enhancing cooperation at the interregional level. She noted that the Great Silk Road has always played an important role in the mutual enrichment of historical and cultural relations, which today can be expanded and developed in a modern variation. An example of such interaction is the International Cultural Expo "Silk Road (Donghuan)", held this year for the sixth time.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China told the guests about the cultural and civilizational contribution of the country to the world community, and also provided detailed information about the economic and social development, energy and transport and logistics capabilities of the state.
In memory of the meeting, the Turkmen diplomat presented the guests with copies of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's book "The Principles of Turkmen Statehood", translated into Chinese.
