The Week of Culture of Turkmenistan in 2024 will be held in the new city of Arkadag
Deputy Prime Minister in charge of culture and mass media in the government, Mahrijemal Mammedova reported on the preparation of a draft resolution on holding the next Week of Culture in 2024 in the city of Arkadag. This became known following a meeting of the Turkmen Cabinet on Wednesday, TDH reports.
In this context, it was said that on June 30, on the occasion of the opening of the first "smart" city in the country, a joint concert of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan with opera singers of the Turkic states is planned to be held at the Aman Gulmammedov State Drama Theater.
According to the decree, the Week of Culture in the city of Arkadag will be held on June 22 — 27, 2024. The document provides for the creation of an appropriate committee, the approval of its composition, and also instructs the authorized bodies to ensure wide coverage and organization of the planned series of events.
