The third training within the framework of the Human Rights School for Youth with disabilities was held in Ashgabat. It is organized by the regional Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) for Central Asia.

The training familiarized the participants with the activities carried out by state institutions and various international structures to promote and implement the rights of persons with disabilities. In particular, the work of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Office of the Ombudsman of Turkmenistan, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the public organization "Yenme".

The project "Human Rights School for Youth with Disabilities" was launched in April this year by the Regional Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) for Central Asia. The implementation of this initiative is of particular relevance in the year of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. 18 young people take part in the School.
