Uzbekistan hosts the international cultural and educational forum of the CIS "Children of the Commonwealth"
The eighth international cultural and educational forum of the CIS member states "Children of the Commonwealth" is taking place in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Commonwealth Executive Committee reports.
This year the forum, organized by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, is held under the motto "Children of the Commonwealth": the inseparable connection of times and generations."
Within its framework, participants will get acquainted with the traditions and customs of their countries. The rich program of the forum includes excursions, exhibitions, master classes, sports competitions, intellectual games, trainings, poetry evenings, circus performances, film screenings.
The forum will last until June 30.
The International Cultural and Educational Forum "Children of the Commonwealth" was initiated by Kyrgyzstan and supported by the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly. For the first time it was held in 2013 in the city of Cholpon-Ata. Over the years of its existence, over 700 schoolchildren have taken part in the international forum.
