Over 150 athletes took part in the Hapkido Championship of Turkmenistan


The Turkmen Hapkido Championship has ended in the capital's Taze Zaman complex, which was attended by about 150 athletes from all regions of the country and the city of Ashgabat, the official Turkmen press reports.
The competition, which took place in two age categories, was organized by the National Federation of Martial Arts "Hanmudo" and was held according to the rules of the International Hapkido Federation (IHF).
As the head of the Turkmen Federation, Honored Coach of Turkmenistan Orif Bukharakov noted, the competitions are aimed at training the sports reserve of this Korean type of martial arts. Especially talented athletes who can compete, including at international competitions, were singled out at the tournament.
Among them are Muhammetali Parahadov and Jalaletdin Bayjayev (up to 50 and 55 kg), Begench Serdarov (up to 65 kg), Shirmuhammet Hommadov (over 65 kg). The champions of the camp were Serdar Borjakov (60 kg), Ahmet Bazarov (up to 65 kg), Serdar Oraznepesov (up to 70 kg), Bezirgen Jumadurdiyev (up to 75 kg), Magamed Nurmammedov (up to 80 kg).
