Turkmenistan and the UAE are set to hold joint sports events


UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmed Al Hameli received the delegation of the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club, which was headed by its Executive Director Al Nahir Al Haili. Representatives of the Arab side visited the Olympic Town in Ashgabat and discussed the prospects of work with their Turkmen colleagues in the field of sports.
In particular, it was about the development and investment in cycling in Turkmenistan. In this context, special attention was paid to the National Cycling Federation, whose representatives were invited to Abu Dhabi to build up bilateral partnership, the press service of the UAE Foreign Ministry reports.
According to Ahmed Al Marzouki, one of the members of the Board of directors of the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club, the parties agreed on the exchange of experience, mutual visits of national teams, joint sporting events.
During their visit, the delegation got acquainted with the sports infrastructure of the capital's sports town, including an indoor cycling track, a medical center for the rehabilitation of athletes and a museum.
