Turkmenistan is in the top 15 countries in terms of trade turnover with Azerbaijan

From January to May 2023, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan amounted to $392.74 million, Trend reports. This is 3.6 times more compared to the same period last year.

Thus, according to the data of the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee, Turkmenistan has entered the top 15 countries in terms of trade turnover with Azerbaijan.

Turkmenistan's exports to Azerbaijan during the period under review amounted to $354.42 million, an increase of 3.6 times compared to last year. Then this figure was equal to 96.34 million dollars.

Turkmenistan's share in Azerbaijan's total imports has also increased to 5.18%.
