Pedagogical universities of Russia to increase the recruitment for the budget on the profile "Russian as a foreign language"
The Ministry of Education of Russia recommended that pedagogical universities of the country increase the number of budget places for admission in the profile "Russian as a foreign language" from the next academic year. The leitmotif is the popularity of this direction.
This was announced by the Deputy Minister of the department Denis Griboyedov, reports TASS.
"As part of the formation of the control figures for the admission of students for the next year, we recommended our pedagogical universities to increase the number of budget places for admission in the profile "Russian as a foreign language". He is one of the most popular today," the Russian edition quotes the official as saying.
Earlier, Griboyedov said that the ministry with 14 universities of the country plans to open education centers in Russian in 28 African countries this year. As for the CIS countries, the construction of 9 Russian schools in Kyrgyzstan is currently underway, and negotiations are underway to build 4 such schools in Armenia. Previously, 5 such schools were built in Tajikistan.
