Turkmen billiard players will perform at the world championship in Russia
The national team of Turkmenistan will take part in the world championship in billiard sports, which will be held from June 12-17 in Surgut. This was reported to an ORIENT correspondent by the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the country.
For five days, Turkmen billiard players consisting of eight people will fight for the awards of the world championship in the Free Pyramid discipline. The national team under the leadership of Batyr Ashirov included: Annamamed Annamamedov, Ashir Ashirov, Eziz Ataev, Kadyrberdy Charyev, Batyr Geldyev, Aziz Durdyev, Begench Dzhumagylydzhev and Akhmed Sakhatov.
The Billiard World Championship will bring together over a hundred athletes from 24 countries. Winners of national tournaments from Turkmenistan, Algeria, Germany, Egypt, Israel, Iraq, Morocco, Serbia, Turkey and other countries will come to Surgut.
