The Prime Minister of Hungary invited the head of Turkmenistan to Budapest on an official visit


He stressed the interest of the Hungarian side in the further development of partnership with Turkmenistan and with the Central Asian states in general, noting that a positive factor in this direction, which contributed to the expansion of economic cooperation with the countries of the region, was Hungary's accession to the Organization of Turkic States as an observer, where Turkmenistan has the same status.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban also noted that the historical and cultural community of both peoples serves as a good basis for Hungarian-Turkmen cooperation. Turkmen students study at Hungarian universities, and Budapest is committed to continuing cooperation in this field, in this regard, it highly appreciated the proposals of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on studying the Hungarian language in one of the higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and on holding cross-cultural Days.
Speaking to the media following the talks, Viktor Orban He said that the head of Turkmenistan accepted his invitation to visit Hungary.
According to the Prime Minister, this visit will serve to further develop cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
In general, the President of Turkmenistan and the head of the Hungarian government expressed satisfaction with the results of the Ashgabat talks.
