Central Asian Green University opened in Uzbekistan


A new university – the Central Asian University for the Study of the Environment and Climate Change Green University has opened in Uzbekistan. Admission of applicants will begin in September 2023, according to Podrobno.uz.
A university is a higher educational institution with a state status. The training will be conducted in Uzbek, Russian and English.
At least 25 grant places will be allocated annually for citizens of Central Asian countries to study in bachelor's degree areas, as well as about 20 scholarships for master's and doctoral studies.
Academic programs of the university will be formed in two categories: flagship, some of which will be provided as joint programs with leading universities of the world, as well as in collaboration with specialized universities of Uzbekistan.
Applicants with certificates of recognized international examination systems TOEFL, IELTS, CEFR, SAT General, SAT Subject and others will be awarded maximum points in the relevant subjects. They are exempt from taking exams in these subjects.
