Turkmen citizens are invited to participate in the online training program in support of the creative economy Supporting the Creative Economy. This is reported by the British Council.

The four-week online self-education program was developed by the British Council in cooperation with Cultural Associates Oxford. It is intended for professionals working in the field of culture and creativity, and interested in the development of policy in this area.

The course consists of two modules and includes video tutorials in English with Russian subtitles. The program gives participants new ideas and tools to support the creative and cultural industries in their country, as well as expands professional ties with the UK and other countries.

The main topics covered by the course include: synergy of the creative sector with other sectors, data collection and analysis, new skills for entrepreneurship development, business models, creative hubs and networks, intellectual property, cultural diversity and audience development, creativity as a national brand or competitive advantage.

The program will last from July 3 to July 28, 2023 and will be supplemented by three "live" sessions online, where participants from different countries will gather in order to get acquainted and exchange experiences. The program will allow you to better understand the creative economy through real examples of interaction between the creative and public sectors.

Interested persons need to fill out the online application form by June 22. It is also necessary to indicate why you are interested in the program and how participation in it will help contribute to the development of the cultural and creative industry in the represented country.

Participants who complete the full program will receive a certificate of completion from the British Council and Cultural Associates Oxford.
