Young men of Turkmenistan defeated their peers from Uzbekistan in the Central Asian tennis championship


The national team of Turkmenistan beat the team of Uzbekistan in the fourth round of the Central Asian Championship among boys and girls under 12 years old, which started in Ashgabat on June 5.
According to ORIENT in the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan, in the first singles match Ali Geldiyev defeated Artem Kontrak - 6:1 6:0. The second match brought victory to Suleiman Khudaiberdyev, who prevailed over Islomjon Tursunov with a score of 6:1 6:2.
In the doubles match, the Turkmen tandem consisting of Nazargeldy Amangeldiyev and Ali Geldiyev defeated the duo of Kamranbek Tohirov and Artem Kontraborov with a score of 6:2 6:4.
In the women's category, Maria Kimyagarova beat Anna Poniatova – 6:1 6:2, and Muslimkhan Turdimiridiva was stronger than Aylara Kakabayeva - 6:0 6:3. In tandem, Nazli Hudaygulyeva and Aylara Kakabayeva lost to Zlata Nizamieva and Maria Kimyagarova with a score of 6:0 6:1.
In parallel matches, the national team of Kazakhstan beat Kyrgyzstan with a total score of 3:0, and Tajikistan prevailed over Afghanistan with a similar advantage.
After the victory, the Turkmen team displaced Uzbekistan from the second line. The Kazakhstan national team continues to lead the standings.
The Kazakh team also retains the first place in the women's category. The second place was taken by the team of Uzbekistan. Turkmenistan closes the top three.
As part of the game program of the final round, the national teams of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan will meet, Kazakhstan will hold a duel against Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan will play with Kyrgyzstan.
