Days of Culture of Turkmenistan opened in Armenia


The Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan has become the opening venue for the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Armenia, the Turkmen Embassy in the country reports. The ceremony was attended by cultural and art figures, historians, art historians, as well as media representatives.
On the first day, the staff of the Institute of Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan visited one of the largest museums in the world — the Mesrop Mashtos Center for the storage of ancient manuscripts in Yerevan. It contains more than 17 thousand manuscripts and over 100 thousand ancient documents. The museum is also one of the largest research institutes in Armenia.
In turn, the Turkmen musicians took part in the "Good Morning" program of the public television of Armenia, performed a concert in front of the Armenian audience.
Within the framework of the Days of Culture, a meeting of the Ministers of Culture of Turkmenistan and Armenia took place, as a result of which an agreement was signed between the governments of the two countries on the development of cooperation in the field of culture for 2023-2025.
