The International University of Oil and Gas hosted a conference on the eve of Science Day
At the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshigeldy Kakayev, on the eve of the Science Day, a conference entitled "The role of Turkmen science in the international oil and gas industry" was held.
The event was attended by students and teaching staff of higher educational institutions of the country. By video link, the seminar was joined by listeners and lecturers of the university branch based in the Balkan region.
During the conference, teachers and students of Turkmen universities spoke about the results of research activities carried out in their educational institutions, as well as about the prospects for cooperation with foreign partners in various fields of science.
The speakers noted that comprehensive work is being carried out in the country to strengthen the base of scientific research and create a digital economy based on advanced technologies and fundamental theoretical sciences.
At the same time, large-scale work is aimed at training qualified specialists with creative ingenuity and increasing the enthusiasm of talented young people for science.
One of the examples of successful activity in the scientific field was the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshigeldy Kakayev, where the international conference "Scientific and Technical possibilities of obtaining hydrogen energy from natural gas" was held for the first time in February 2023.
Professors and students of this university regularly publish scientific articles about their research and project work. From January to May 2023, more than 240 materials written by teachers and students of the university were published in domestic and foreign journals.
