Projects for the development of transport and energy infrastructures of Turkmenistan and Georgia were discussed in Tbilisi


The meeting of the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Georgian Commission for Economic Cooperation took place on Monday in Tbilisi. The parties noted the high level of bilateral relations and determined the guidelines for the further development of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, according to the website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
Chairman of the Turkmen part of the commission, Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Begench Gochmollayev and Chairman of the Georgian part of the commission, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili considered the possibilities of expanding trade and economic ties, investment cooperation, further implementation of joint projects aimed at developing transport -logistics and energy infrastructures.
The parties also noted the need for further practical cooperation in the fields of science, education, sports and tourism.
Recall, on June 5-6, the fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen- Georgian Commission on Economic Cooperation is being held in Tbilisi.
