The II Games of the CIS countries have opened in Belarus in a test mode, Belteleradiocompany reports. An operational coordination center has also been launched.
Within two weeks, not only sports grounds will be tested in a competitive mode, but also the ability of personnel to respond promptly to emergency situations will be tested.
On the eve of the tournament, most sports facilities are undergoing a transformation. For example, the tennis arena in Soligorsk in the first half of August will become a venue for competitions in three types of wrestling, and boxing competitions will be held at the ice arena in the city of Orsh. In turn, the Vitebsk Amphitheater will become a ring for Thai boxing.
The II Games of the CIS countries will be held from August 3 to August 15, 2023. It is expected that more than 6 thousand people will take part in the competition, about 4 thousand of them are athletes.
800 judges will monitor compliance with all the rules.
