The national team of Turkmenistan beat the team of Afghanistan in the second round of the Central Asian Championship among boys and girls under 12 years old, which started on June 5.

According to ORIENT in the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan, in the first singles match Ali Geldyyev defeated Dovran Mukhammet Kurban with a score of 6:0 6:0. The second match brought victory to Suleyman Hudayberdyyev, who prevailed over Muzammil Ayubi with a similar advantage.

In parallel matches, Kazakhstan beat Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan lost to Uzbekistan.

Recall that the tournament is held with the assistance of the International Tennis Federation (ITF). More than 30 tennis players from Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan take part in the competition.

Duels of the tournament in the format of doubles and singles are held on modern indoor courts. The main referee of the competition is the Iranian Saftejani Mohammadhassan Lachinani. The final matches of the championship will be held on June 9.
