The national team of Turkmenistan started the Central Asian Tennis Championship (U-12) with victories
Turkmen athletes have successfully started at the Central Asian Tennis Championship among children under 12 years old.
In the first match of the tournament, Turkmen tennis player Ali Geldiyev beat Kyrgyz athlete Alan Bogdanov with a score of 6:0 6:0.
Immediately after the match, the head coach of the men's team, Yuri Rogussky, commented on the victory of his ward in an interview with ORIENT.
"We were preparing for the match quite seriously. Opening matches are always hard to start, but today we showed diligence. The native walls, of course, also help us. The atmosphere is gorgeous. We are glad of this support."
With a similar advantage — 6:0 6:0 — Anna Ponyatova took over Kyrgyzstan's Nurmira Baydylayeva.
In parallel matches, Uzbekistan met with the team of Tajikistan, and Afghanistan played a match with Kazakhstan.
