Bidding on SCRMET: diesel fuel and textiles were in demand
On Thursday, June 1, 9 deals totaling $24.4 million were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Businessmen from Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Turkey and the UAE purchased 43.5 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel, the cost of which, depending on the size of the discount, was estimated at $566.75 and 556.75 per ton. The total amount of transactions exceeded $24.3 million.
A representative of the Chinese business community purchased 26.4 thousand units of various types of textiles — pillowcases, bedspreads and blankets for $49.5 thousand.
