"In captivity of harmony": an exhibition of Mary artists opened in Ashgabat
In the capital gallery of the Exhibition Center of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, an exhibition entitled "In captivity of harmony" has unfolded.
More than 200 works were placed on two floors, which were brought by Mary artists Shohrat Berdyyev, Merdan Akmammedov and Gurbandurdy Tirkeshov.
Each of the paintings reflects a special concept of the perception of art, which is interpreted by the search for answers to various questions of existence.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Mary artists were awarded honorary diplomas and valuable gifts. Chairman of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan Charymurad Yazmuradov focused on the professional vision of the masters of art, who managed to convey the ancient monuments and historical sights of Merv on their canvases.
Such paintings as Begench Akmammedov's "Ene" or Shohrat Berdyyev's "Dileg" are able to evoke various emotions and associations in the audience, while other works by artists attract attention with their beauty and technical skill.
The exhibition caused a great resonance not only among art professionals, but also among the general public.
The exhibition of paintings by Mary artists will last until the first of June.
