It was noted that since the adoption of the Concept, there have been structural changes in the healthcare systems in the Commonwealth states - some countries practice a mixed model of healthcare, a system of compulsory medical insurance has been introduced in a number of countries, the economic independence of medical institutions has been expanded, and a market for medical services has been formed.
Digitalization of healthcare and a personalized approach are also actively developing today, modern forms of remote counseling and telemedicine are used, special emphasis is placed on interaction in the fight and prevention of non-communicable and other types of diseases.
The participants of the meeting noted that in order to preserve sanitary and epidemiological well-being, work on the control of especially dangerous infectious diseases is actively developing and emphasis is placed on the training of doctors of specialized anti-epidemic brigades.
