Turkmen students won 8 gold medals at the I Olympiad in Geometry and Graphics
The Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan summed up the results of the First International Internet Olympiad in Descriptive Geometry and graphics, in which Turkmen students won 8 gold medals.
In total, 180 students from 40 universities of Turkmenistan, Russia, Belarus, China, Pakistan, Romania, the USA and Turkey took part in the online competition, the university told ORIENT.
A total of 60 medals of various denominations were awarded. The participating students were offered tasks of increased complexity to test their competencies.
The university stated that it is thanks to such a "brainstorming" that it is possible to actually manufacture parts and structures needed in various fields, including construction, industry and robotics.
