President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the credentials of the new British Ambassador to Turkmenistan Stephen Conlon, and also discussed with him the prospects of Turkmen-British cooperation, the Turkmen state news agency reports.

The Head of State discussed with the diplomat the possibilities of integrating the advanced achievements of British entrepreneurs.

In an interview with Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Conlon said that the business circles of the United Kingdom are interested in expanding their presence in the promising Turkmen market. The Ambassador noted the creation of optimal conditions for doing business in the country.

In this context, the diplomat assured the President that he would make efforts to intensify bilateral partnership, including in the economic sphere.

Energy, finance, banking services, insurance, green technologies and agriculture were identified among the relevant areas of cooperation.
