A single Emergency Call Service number "123" will be created in the city of Arkadag

Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov proposed to create in the city of Arkadag a single Service for receiving emergency calls by the short number "123", TDH reports.
It is assumed that the new Service will process and transmit information from citizens to gas and fire safety institutions, as well as ambulance and emergency services.
Such a unified application reception and processing service will be created in Turkmenistan for the first time and is designed to provide timely assistance to residents of the city in emergency situations.
Similar services have shown effectiveness in other countries, for example in the USA, where the short number "911" is used, in Russia — "112", in the UK — "999".
