Turkmen airlines will carry out cargo transportation between London and Hanoi via Ashgabat

"Turkmenistan Airlines" will operate flights on the opened first cargo route between the UK and Vietnam in transit through Turkmenistan.
The launch of the new route was announced on May 19 by TT Meridian-an international trade and logistics company specializing in servicing the UK and Vietnam markets, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
The company uses A330 aircraft with a payload capacity of 30 tons. Now weekly TT Meridian cargo flights operated by the Turkmen air carrier will depart from London Stansted Airport every Wednesday evening, then depart from Ashgabat International Airport on Thursday morning and arrive at Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport on Thursday afternoon - all local time. The return flight is longer - it departs Hanoi on Thursday evening and arrives at Stansted Airport on Wednesday morning of the following week (journey time 5-6 days).
There have been reportedly several test flights along this route over the past few weeks.
