Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov discussed cooperation with a member of the ruling family of Saudi Arabia
Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held talks with the representative of the ruling family of Saudi Arabia, Emir Mohammed bin Saad bin Khalid al-Saud, with whom he discussed the prospects of the Turkmen-Saudi partnership.
Representatives of the two states considered a wide range of issues, touching upon such areas as investment, agriculture, energy, trade, chemical industry, textiles, as well as cultural and humanitarian cooperation, TDH reports.
In addition, the parties drew attention to the existing potential in inter-parliamentary cooperation and the exchange of experience between the deputies of the two states.
The opportunities that open up for Turkmen and Saudi youth interested in the development of innovative technologies were highlighted. In this context, the parties expressed their readiness to increase cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The guest who arrived in Ashgabat congratulated the Turkmen citizens on the Day of the Constitution and the State Flag, and also expressed admiration for the "smart" city of Arkadag.
